Let The Old Control Go Home And Groom

I had graphic design this semester, sadly it will probably be the last time I take it in school. I'm not a designer, but I like to keep practice cause I'm interested in bringing a design sense to my illustrations and narrative work.

Our final assignment was to take a business and redesign their logo, business card and create a brochure. I picked a hair salon called AB Classic Design from Toronto.

They Were Kids That I Once Knew

I've created a webcomic which you can check out at the above site. I've been working on the website and the comic almost nonstop the past month and a half; it's finished now, updates three times a week and as of this writing, I have 6 pages posted.
This is a little info illustration that will give you an idea about what the comic is about and who the characters are. This image can also be found on the 'New Readers' page of the website.

The Voice That Cried On The Lonesome Tide

Designed a logo for myself. I had a rough version on my site for a while now, but I've had some adjustments made to it by Jill Dallas, and I must say, it looks leaps and bounds better than before.

You can see it in action here.

Wide-Eyed Walker, Don't Betray Me

Completed graphic design assignment for a kid's juice label and a poster to go along with it, plus all my roughs.
The one of the words making the shape of the fox is my favourite, something to do with the creepiness of it, but it may not have been the strongest or most appropriate.
The finals aren't perfect, but they are what I handed in.

We're The Same, Oh But In A Different Way

Business card designs for a Graphic Design assignment. In the end since it was not a real business card for me, I didn't worry about selling the illustration part of things, but rather just making an interesting looking business card.

Also, a lot of the process business cards on the way to this finished one.

Disappeared From Public Places. Never Seen Again

Posted too soon when I shared the album cover for a fake band. I tweaked it before I finally handed it in. So here is the final cover along with the rest of the CD case for my graphic design class. Overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out.
These images are how you would see the CD case and interior pages when you lay it out, rather than how I had to print them to assemble the book. Also, the pull quotes are from, respectively, Oscar Wilde's last words, Louis CK, and an episode of Community.
'Well Come' was inspired by the Prisoner, the original series.
